Les travailleurs, membres de la section 22 de l'International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), ont d\u00e9pos\u00e9 une demande d'\u00e9lection aupr\u00e8s du National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) et ont vot\u00e9 par 23 voix contre 6 pour n\u00e9gocier collectivement les conditions de leur emploi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une cinquantaine de personnes travaillent dans les coulisses pour construire et fabriquer les spectacles pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par la Shakespeare Theatre Company. Les artisans sont, entre autres, des charpentiers, des \u00e9lectriciens, des peintres, des techniciens audio et vid\u00e9o, des costumiers, des coiffeurs et des maquilleurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Shakespeare Theatre Company est une organisation artistique \u00e0 but non lucratif et membre de la League of Resident Theatres (LORT), la plus grande association commerciale de compagnies th\u00e9\u00e2trales professionnelles r\u00e9sidentes en Am\u00e9rique. En 2020, les recettes brutes de l'employeur se sont \u00e9lev\u00e9es \u00e0 un peu plus de $13,5 millions de dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les employ\u00e9s de la production se sont organis\u00e9s pour avoir voix au chapitre et pour am\u00e9liorer leurs salaires et leurs conditions de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Nous sommes ravis du vote \u00e9crasant d'aujourd'hui\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Nick Arancibia, organisateur de la section 22. \"Les travailleurs se sont exprim\u00e9s.
