ASHLAND, OR<\/strong> - Les travailleurs de la maintenance et de l'entretien de l'Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) et leur syndicat, la section locale 154 de l'IATSE, ont n\u00e9goci\u00e9 et ratifi\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s un premier contrat, a annonc\u00e9 le syndicat lundi. C'est la premi\u00e8re fois en 130 ans d'histoire de l'Alliance internationale des employ\u00e9s de sc\u00e8ne (IATSE) que nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons la n\u00e9gociation r\u00e9ussie d'un accord couvrant uniquement les travailleurs des installations, de l'entretien et du gardiennage dans un th\u00e9\u00e2tre am\u00e9ricain.<\/p>

Avec plus de 400 000 spectateurs par an, l'OSF accueille depuis 88 ans un large \u00e9ventail de spectacles, des classiques aux nouvelles \u0153uvres, en passant par les com\u00e9dies musicales et les premi\u00e8res mondiales. Alors que les machinistes de l'OSF ont \u00e9t\u00e9 syndiqu\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois par la section locale 154 en 2016 et que les artisans des ateliers de d\u00e9cors, d'accessoires et de costumes suivront en 2021-2022, les installations\/entretien et le gardiennage n'avaient pas de contrat syndical - jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent. \"Cet accord repr\u00e9sente une \u00e9tape monumentale dans la reconnaissance d'un secteur essentiel de l'industrie du divertissement, dont la main-d'\u0153uvre a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 sous-estim\u00e9e et n\u00e9glig\u00e9e\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Amanda Sager, repr\u00e9sentante internationale de l'IATSE.<\/p>

L'accord de deux ans et demi, qui concerne 14 membres d\u00e9vou\u00e9s de l'\u00e9quipe ayant entre 2 et 20 ans de service au festival, apporte une s\u00e9rie d'avantages aux employ\u00e9s des services de maintenance et d'entretien, notamment : des augmentations de salaire annuelles entre 3 et 5%, des prestations de soins de sant\u00e9 et de retraite, des mesures disciplinaires progressives et justifi\u00e9es, des primes d'astreinte, des paiements suppl\u00e9mentaires si les employ\u00e9s ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient pas d'un temps de rotation suffisant entre les jours de travail, l'accessibilit\u00e9 linguistique dans les r\u00e9unions et les documents, et un diff\u00e9rentiel de salaire bilingue. Le nouveau contrat a \u00e9t\u00e9 ratifi\u00e9 \u00e0 l'unanimit\u00e9 par 14 voix contre 0.<\/p>

\"L'Alliance ne se reposera pas tant que tous les travailleurs du spectacle n'auront pas obtenu la reconnaissance et le respect qu'ils m\u00e9ritent\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident international de l'IATSE, Matthew D.
