Loeb, au Conseil ex\u00e9cutif mondial d'UNI Global Union, jeudi. Cette d\u00e9cision, prise par acclamation, souligne le r\u00f4le de plus en plus pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rant de l'ºìÌÒÊÓƵdans la promotion de la solidarit\u00e9 internationale et de la collaboration entre les travailleurs et les syndicats de l'industrie des m\u00e9dias et du divertissement \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale. Le vice-pr\u00e9sident international et directeur des affaires canadiennes, John Lewis, continuera \u00e0 assumer son r\u00f4le de premier suppl\u00e9ant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNI Global Union est une f\u00e9d\u00e9ration multinationale de syndicats repr\u00e9sentant 20 millions de travailleurs de plus de 150 pays dans divers secteurs, allant des travailleurs des services \u00e0 la technologie. Le 6e Congr\u00e8s mondial d'UNI Global Union s'est tenu \u00e0 Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie, du 27 au 30 ao\u00fbt. Sur le th\u00e8me \"S'\u00e9lever ensemble\", le congr\u00e8s a rassembl\u00e9 les dirigeants des syndicats affili\u00e9s \u00e0 UNI afin d'\u00e9tablir un programme d'action pour les quatre ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir, dans le but d'am\u00e9liorer la situation des travailleurs dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Loeb est pr\u00e9sident du secteur des m\u00e9dias, du divertissement et des arts (UNI MEI) d'UNI Global Union depuis 2018. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu pour la premi\u00e8re fois au Conseil ex\u00e9cutif mondial d'UNI Global Union la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.
