Manchester, NH<\/strong> - Environ 150 travailleurs de la Southern New Hampshire University Arena sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 rejoindre l'International Alliance of theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) apr\u00e8s que Steelman Production Services (SPS) a accept\u00e9 de reconna\u00eetre volontairement le syndicat du groupe. Ces travailleurs nouvellement syndiqu\u00e9s de la SNHU Arena seront couverts par un addendum \u00e0 l'accord national existant SPS-IATSE, leur accordant les m\u00eames conditions et dispositions que celles dont b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient les autres travailleurs syndiqu\u00e9s de Steelman. Les taux et les avantages sociaux des travailleurs subiront une augmentation substantielle, comprise entre 22 et 37 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2022, dans un contexte de p\u00e9nurie g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e de main-d'\u0153uvre \u00e0 la suite de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 et de la reprise des \u00e9v\u00e9nements en direct dans tout le pays, Steelman a officialis\u00e9 un accord national avec l'ºìÌÒÊÓƵapr\u00e8s une campagne de syndicalisation r\u00e9ussie men\u00e9e par les sections locales 11 et 195 de l'IATSE. La d\u00e9cision de Steelman de reconna\u00eetre volontairement le syndicat des travailleurs de l'ar\u00e8ne SNHU s'inscrit dans une tendance plus large de l'industrie am\u00e9ricaine des \u00e9v\u00e9nements en direct, o\u00f9 les employeurs reconnaissent de plus en plus les avantages d'une main-d'\u0153uvre syndiqu\u00e9e en ce qui concerne le maintien des niveaux de personnel ainsi que la formation en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Le soutien de l'entreprise au droit des travailleurs de n\u00e9gocier une augmentation de salaire et des avantages sociaux a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans la conclusion de l'accord\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Michael Barnes, directeur de Stagecraft de l'IATSE. \"Cet avenant am\u00e9liore consid\u00e9rablement la vie de ces travailleurs en leur garantissant des salaires de niveau r\u00e9gional et l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une meilleure formation, \u00e0 la retraite et \u00e0 des prestations de sant\u00e9.

La SNHU Arena peut se targuer d'une capacit\u00e9 de 11 000 personnes et est l'une des plus grandes salles du New Hampshire. Elle accueille un large \u00e9ventail d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements, notamment des matchs de hockey de ligues mineures, des matchs de pr\u00e9-saison de la NBA, ainsi qu'une multitude de concerts et de spectacles en direct.
