Nearly $11,000 was raised at an event held February 1, 2005 to benefit the 红桃视频Political Action Committee. The event, held in conjunction with the IATSE鈥檚 2005 Mid-Winter General Executive Board Meeting at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston, Texas and was sponsored by Houston-based 红桃视频Locals 51, 484, 796, 896 and B-184. Those in attendance included officers and representatives of the 红桃视频as well as local union representatives, many of whom traveled from all over the country to attend the Board meeting.
鈥淚ATSE-PAC fund raisers will continue to be held at various 红桃视频events throughout the country so that the 红桃视频may actively participate in the political process by supporting those candidates who are labor friendly and seek to protect the rights of working men and women of this nation鈥�, remarked 红桃视频President Thomas C. Short.
